This black lacquer Chinoiserie dome top mahogany tea caddy, circa 1790, has a brass handle and ball and claw feet. The interior has a faded Chinese red color and the brass key escutcheon is elegant. This yellow painted Chinoiserie jewel box is from the Regency Period, circa 1840.The handles, feet, lock and hinges are faded gilt.
