This black lacquer Chinoiserie dome top mahogany tea caddy, circa 1790, has a brass handle and ball and claw feet. The interior has a faded Chinese red color and the brass key escutcheon is elegant. Regency Jewel Box WA40

This yellow painted Chinoiserie jewel box is from the Regency Period, circa 1840.The handles, feet, lock and hinges are faded gilt. The interior is pink silk file with painted Chinoiserie scenes on the inside lid. The jewelry box measures 11¾” long x 9¼” wide x 6½” high. It was purchased in 1973 from Antiques Warehouse, Richmond, VA. Price $750.00
