Originating from Northern Iran circa 1850, this natural dye wool Bidjar runner features a blue background with red "fans" and a rose border in gold, blue, red, and black. Bakshaish Carpet CA10

This elegant Bakshaish carpet has a large blue medallion and milles fleurs corners. It was woven in Persia during the 19th century, the natural dye wool carpet features a red center with surrounding beige borders. This bright mainly red, royal blue, and gold carpet has an exceptionally large center medallion. One carpet specialist stated that this was "the most beautiful he had seen in his entire career.” The carpet measures 14’5” x 11’.
